DLFLo Features
  1. Dynamic Workflow Changes
    The advanced features of QCTI/DLFLo allow group leaders to seamlessly assign complex tasks to other employees in the event the leader is out of the office. Using conditional transmissions and absence dealing strategies, QCTI/DLFLo can intelligently manage workflow changes and adjustments.

  2. Graphical Workflow Design for Ease of Use
    QCTI/DLFLo allows for the graphical representation of sophisticated workflow processes. The user interface is intuitive and consistent with the layout of Microsoft Office. The design is WYSIWYG, therefore there is no need to learn scripting, programming or implement macros. This includes making workflow maps, specifying conditions, and making organization charts. QCTI/DLFLo provides a graphical means of taking a workflow process and implementing it. Each step in the process is represented graphically by an icon. By linking icons together, the designer can specify the flow, or routing of the workflow. For each step, the designer can also specify an electronic form which allows users to interface with the process and perform the tasks they are required to do.

  3. Administration of Complex Organizational Structures
    QCTI/DLFLo's comprehensive administrative tools allow for the setup of complex hierarchical and usergroup structures. Cross-functional user roles and specially defined usergroup attributes can easily be created and managed within the workflow system.

  4. Applied as a Pure Internet Browser
    In the past, distributed systems were C/S based, and as such provided no support for the Internet and platform compatability. With the development of Web technology, distributed systems became easier to implement, maintain and use. However, once browser-based applications started using Active X controls compatibility issues arose. Some applications for example, could be used in WINDOWS 98 but not in NT. The QCTI/DLFLo desktop is a pure browser without any ActiveX Controls, thereby reducing costs, and allowing for remote and mobile working.

  5. Strong Security Control
    1. Authorized NT system support. User can be exported through NT.
    2. QCTI/DLFLo will classify a user's operation priviledges as:
      Start up, read, trace, delete;
      Start - a user owns the right to start this flow;
    3. Read - a user can read contents in the sheet after the flow starts and before it ends;
      Trace - a user can see the status of a process after the flow starts and before it ends;
      Delete - a user can delete the flow after it starts;
    4. NT will confirm every step as required.

  6. ASP/ASP.Net Forms Allow for Growth
    A key component of any workflow automation system are the forms that comprise it. Most systems provide special definition tools which allow for the creation of these forms. Unfortunately, most of these tools are limited in scope. Proper definition tools must be able to take into account a company's present and future business development needs. QCTI/DLFLo uses ASP/ASP.Net forms, i.e., movable web page sheets. These sheets provide the following benefits: greater functionality through the extension of HTML; low cost development; ability to develop in-house or via third party.

  7. Flexible Out-Going Management Strategy
    Typical workflow management systems use Timeout parameters to manage processes while an employee is out of the office. The out-going management strategy of QCTI/DLFLo is comprised of Timeout and Out-Going parameters. When an employee is out on a business trip for example, the tasks for this user can be automatically transmitted to a delegated person according to the pre-set parameters.

  8. Integration of Mail System
    Information is automatically transmitted to relevant users via MS Exchange Server or other specified mail systems.
